School with the Overall Best Athletic Program Award

Criteria used to determine the school with the best overall sports program is implemented by dividing the 16 public high schools in Pinellas County into two divisions:

North : Tarpon Springs, East Lake, Palm Harbor, Countryside, Dunedin, Clearwater, Largo, and Pinellas Park

South : Lakewood, Gibbs, St. Petersburg, Boca Ciega, Northeast, Dixie Hollins, Osceola, and Seminole

In the following team sports:

Each school plays teams within their division to determine a divisional champion, and both divisional champions play for the conference title in that sport.

In the sports made up of individual events or weights:

Points are awarded to each school which fields a team in the above mentioned sports based on the school's conference finish.
